Meet Albert Klim
Albert Klim is an international violinist and experienced music educator with over 40 years of teaching experience. Born and trained in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, Albert built his career performing with state orchestras and chamber ensembles across Uzbekistan and Turkey, before spending two decades teaching and performing in Macao — where he taught violin at leading music academies and schools, prepared students for exams and competitions, and performed in international festivals and cultural events.
Now based in Taranaki, Albert is currently Concertmaster of the Taranaki Symphony Orchestra and Music Director and Conductor of the Taranaki Rusty Orchestra. He brings that same stage experience into every lesson, working with students of all ages and abilities to help them build technique, confidence, and a genuine love of playing.
His mission is simple: to help you discover the violinist within. Whether you’re picking up a violin for the first time, returning to it after years away, or working toward a professional standard, Albert tailors every lesson to where you are — and where you want to go. With quality teaching, personalised guidance, and strong motivation, he’ll help you build confidence, enjoy performing, and achieve your musical goals.
